Jackie and Mike

I had the pleasure of finally meeting them when they had a chance to come to Ann Arbor over the Thanksgiving weekend. They are getting married in East Tawas next July but live in Colorado. I'm always a bit nervous to meet someone for the first time after corresponding over the phone, but they were both so incredibly friendly that it was quite easy and I had such a nice time with them! I am really looking forward to their beach wedding next year!! We shot their engagement pictures in downtown Ann Arbor. Sarah and Ryan

For the first time, we had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of a celebrity! I'm suppose to keep it hush hush though as she is quite shy about it...
Their wedding was spectacular! Both Sarah and Ryan are just awesome people and so very easy to be around. Having to stay consistant to their engagement session, we went with them and their bridal party to an irish pub after the ceremony to celebrate for a moment. I don't exactly remember the saying that one of the groomsmen made during his toast to them, but it was hilarious! At the reception, their mother showed a very touching slideshow of them, which brought a lot of people to tears.(Including Sara Orris...as usual) The real treat of the evening though came from Ryan as he danced his way to his new bride for the garter. It was very creative, well done and hilarious! We had an amazing time capturing their wedding day!! They ALMOST knocked over their cake...

Kristine and Bryon

Kristine and Bryon (and their bridal party) were so much fun to be with all day. The weather wasn't the best, but they were so laid back about going outside in the freezing cold to get some great shots with the fall foliage. We actually got a bit lucky as the rain subsided during the time we were taking pictures. We saw some of the most creative bridal introductions that we've seen in a looong time! The whole day was such great fun! Kristine and her Dad had their father/daughter dance and half way through it they broke out and started doing "the twist". We have never seen that before. It really showed what a fun family they are. Being there to capture their wedding day was truly a pleasure. Toronto

Sara and I FINALLY had a completely free weekend. The first one in many, many, many weeks! We decided to visit some of our good friends and spend the day in Toronto. For those of you haven't been there, I would definitely recommend it! The city has so much to see and do. We walked around all day just enoying the city. At the end of the day, we took a tour of a local micro brewery called Steam Whistle. The tour was cool and the beer was great! Here are some pictures from our day there:

Of course, the obligatory shot of the CN Tower.

For those of you who enjoy an occasional beer, I would definitely recommend steam whistle. It is a microbrew in Toronto.

Megan. She is the daughter of our friends. She is just too cute!!

Sarah and Ryan

Well, last thursday Ryan and I wanted to have a beer, but Sarah insisted we take some pictures first!! I hung out with them in downtown Plymouth and had a fantastic time with them! They are both such great people and easy to be around. Oh, and they take great pictures...
It was not very difficult to get either of them to smile. Actually, I'm not sure that they are able to not smile. We found some pretty cool spots right downtown. Of course, we ended up at the pub... Here are some previews:

Paul and Paulie

Sara and I traveled to Kansas City to capture their wedding. It was a blast! We had so much fun before their wedding, during their wedding and after their wedding. Neither of us had ever been to Kansas City before and we both really loved it their. Their ceremony and reception were both held at the beautiful Embassy Suites. Paul and Paulie were great! Thanks again!

Tiffany and Jack

So much fun! They are soo relaxed and such greaat and gracious people to be around. Jack is a native of California and I think his relaxed attitude has rubbed of on Tiffany. The weather for the wedding wasn't the most cooperating, but it was still a great day. They seemed to have such fun with each other. Their reception was at Boulder Pointe. It was a beautiful venue and the first time there for Sara and I. Previews follow: (my fav is the last one)

This shot of Sara and Jack sums up the fun we had and how much fun they were!
