Photo Of The Moment..

We've been so busy that I haven't been able to post a P.O.M in a long time. I took this shot a few years ago while still in school. It was taken with a 4x5 view camera that I was just learning to use. I love view camera's. If I had more time, I would get another one. It's just too time consuming though since, in my opinion, you really need to develop them and make the prints yourself to make it worth your time. If you're unaware of view camera's, they are the camera's you may think of when you think of an "old school" photographer with the black cloth over your head while using it. They're huge and the negatives are huge(4 inches by 5 inches, or larger!), but the quality is second to none. Here's a shot of the Detroit skyline and boardwalk area:

Picture Shows.....

We got away from posting a picture show of each wedding as it is easier for you "regulars" to just view a few of the pictures, rather than the whole day. However, we ARE still creating a picture show for each couple!! The best part now is.... if you like the picture show we create for your wedding..... it is for sale!!! We didn't have the technology in the past to recreate the show on dvd, exactly as it was viewed on our blog, but it is now possible. If you'd like to order a dvd, simply click on the show and then click on the "buy show" button in the lower right hand corner of the show. It's that simple!! Marika and Dave.....

We traveled across the Canadian border to capture the wedding of Marika and Dave. They were married at the Sarnia Riding Club on beautiful Lake Huron. Sara grew up in Sarnia, so we always love to get the opportunity to shoot an event in Sarnia. Marika and Dave were so much fun and we had such a relaxing and enjoyable time capturing their day. Marika is a fellow photographer, so it's always a bit scary for us to shoot for another photographer. Their day was perfect though!! The weather was beautiful and the rain held off for their beach side wedding. So fun!! Here's some previews:

Liz and Antonio.....

Liz and Antonio were married in Pontiac at the 30 North. They had a very unique theme to their wedding. Their theme was that they were movie stars. It was very well done, right down to the red carpet. We had such a nice time capturing their wedding! Liz and Antonio are so incredibly friendly. It was truly our pleasure to capture their big day.
