2006 Year In Review!!

Sara and I would like to sincerely thank each and every person who's wedding we have been a part of this year! It has been a greay year for us in both our professional and personal lives. Thanks Again!!

We have created a look back through the year in the form of a picture show. Here are the instructions: **the page will be white when you first go there. allow at least 10-15 seconds to elapse and then hit the triangle play button. there are MANY images, so that is why the short delay is necessary. Turn up the volume and enjoy the show!!!! NOTE: don't try this at home if you have dial-up. you'll be here all night..

Our Nursery Mural

As many of you know, we are expecting our first child at the end of February! We are getting a bit nervous about getting everything prepared to bring her home. Yes, it is going to be a girl. Her name will be Elizabeth Kay Orris. This week we had a painter come out to our home to paint a mural for her room. We absolutely love it!! If anyone is looking for a muralist, we would highly recommend him. His name is Martin LaPrise and you can view more of his work or contact him at his website, which is http://www.martinlaprise.net

Here are some pics of the murals we commisioned him for:

The pole the cat is on is a height measuring stick.

Our trip to Naples, Florida

Sara and I travel down to Naples, Florida each year to spend a week with my family. Naples is a really nice city to visit. The area, in general, has a lot to offer. There a lot of little islands you can to, many beaches, city piers, art galleries, great eateries, really cool pubs(from what i remember), and a lot of places you can go on a day trip. Myself, I like to visit all of the local wildlife and nature preserves. Here are a couple of pictures I took while visiting naples.

Can you see the newt??
