Photo Of The Moment....

I took this shot during our honeymoon trip through some of the National Parks. This is Glacier Lake, which oddly enough, is part of Glacier National Park. It was our second choice of the day. We wanted to travel on the famous "going to the sun" road that goes through glacier, but because of the time of year, it wasn't open yet. Here is our view of Glacier Lake:

Crazy Cool New feature....

so the cool people at blogger have a new feature i can use. Whenever i make a post, i can include the song i'm listening to and i believe you can then hear it if you want to. pretty sweet huh? so sometimes i'll post the song, and when i'm listening to something i'd be ashamed for you to know, i won't post... :-)
so now you can either make fun of my music or compliment it... one warning though: don't expect any cutting edge, world shaking selections. Oh, and don't expect much consistency either. my musical selections can be very schizophrenic, like us, i mean me.... :-)

Crazy Weekend Update...

Sorry i didn't reply to anyone over the past weekend. It was slightly hectic for us.... It was a very fun weekend though. We shot a wedding in Chicago on saturday, so we left on thursday to spend some time downtown and enjoy the city. We met up with Abby and Jon thursday evening and shot their e-session since they live in Chicago, right downtown. It didn't really work out that we were able to stay downtown(because we're cheap and only found $250 rooms), but we had a nice time there. So here's the crazy part, for the first time, we shot two weddings back to back without sleeping in between because we didn't have time. Shooting back to back weddings is normal. However, not sleeping in between is not. We had the pleasure of shooting Maggie and Jason's wedding outside of Chicago on Saturday and then leaving at midnight for the 6 hour drive (including stops) to be back to capture Gilda and Bill's wedding at 9:30 am in Birmingham on Sunday....yeah, we're tired.

So here's our mastercard ad:

Miles driven: 655
images taken: 4,750
amount of sleep: 0
Capturing two sweet weddings in the span of 30 hours: priceless

Ellie is 6 months...

So our daughter is getting old on us already, so I thought i'd post a quick pic. Yes, her hair is really THAT red. and no, neither Sara or myself has red hair. The mail man doesn't either(i know you were thinking that.... smart a@@..)

Jen & Mike

Here's a math equation for you: At a wedding, J+M=Fun. We had such a good time following jen and mike around to capture their wedding. I really don't know what else to say about it, except that it was fun. We are really quite lucky, our couples this year have rocked and Jen and Mike definitely rocked. Here are some previews:

One of my favorite shots in a while. yep..
