Our Naples Vacation...

It's been almost two weeks since we've been back from our vacation to Naples, FL and I have just now had the time to post some pictures up from our trip. We LOVE the area and are usually lucky enough to visit my parent's there each year. Here are some of the pics:


















Our friends Bob and Toni took me to a nature preserve that's off the beaten path. As we we were leaving, across the street from the entrance was an old abandoned jail house and yard. It was really quite spooky to walk about the place. It really made for some cool pictures though.

Photo Of The Moment..

This image was taken last year during our trip to Las Vegas for our annual photographic convention. We took a day trip to Lake Mead and that general area because Sara nor I had ever been to Nevada before. These hills made for a really nice drive. We stopped at some point to hike on a trail to an outlook. It wasn't a long hike, but a nice one though. At the top of the outlook, I took some pictures and this one was among them.

..spare time on my hands..

so I had a little spare time this weekend and started playing around in photoshop a bit. I ended creating what I like to call the "comic book" effect. I decided that we are no longer going to offer albums and instead I am going to turn everyone's wedding into a comic book..! Of course, i am just kidding, but how fun would that be?! No? Yes?

Matt and Kari...

We went with Matt and Kari downtown to have their engagement session. We had an awesome afternoon walking around "The D" with them and I think we got some pretty sweet stuff too! We did find out though (from security), that you need permission to take pictures on the people mover... oops! At least they didn't catch us until we were getting off of the train..! FYI, it is allowed to take pics on the people mover, but you have to call and let them know first. I made the mistake of "assuming" since it was public property. I guess things are different than they used to be...
Never the less, we had a great time!!

Robben and Larz...

Robben and Larz were actually married in the Dominican, but also had a reception here in Michigan for their friends and family. It was a really fun evening. They kept their tropical theme going, which was a nice contrast to our cold weather! This was an occasion when we hadn't had an opportunity to meet them prior to their wedding reception, but they are such incredibly nice people that we felt like we knew them for years! Congratulations you two!! Here re some pics:

We are now back in town after a refreshing visit to sunny Naples, FL. Actually, the day we left, it was warmer here in MI than it was down there. Stay tuned as i'll be posting some pics!
