Florida excursion......

We are off to sunny Florida for a mini vacation. We're heading to Cocoa beach this time. We typically go down to Naples once and Cocoa beach once per year to visit each side of the family. It's sooo tough to keep both sides of the family happy huh..... ;-)
We'll be returning on the 25th. I should have limited e-mail access, so i will try to keep up, but i'm not making any promises. The sun, surf and sand awaits.......

computer goes kaput.......
so, our computer decided that since tomorrow is tax day and we're leaving tomorrow evening for our trip to florida, that it would be a good time to crash. so i do apologize for anyone who has tried e-mailing me and i haven't responded to yet. i will be able to tonight... i hope. no information has been lost of course, but it's a huge p.i.t.a to have to go through all of the "steps" to recovery. i'm going to start a new help group...... " hi, i'm Duane, and my computer crashed yesterday". AAAAAHHHHHHHHH... okay, now i feel much better.

Ellie had tubes put in her ears today. Its a very minor procedure that
only lasted 5 minutes. She wasn't too wild about it though. She's had
many ear infections already, so the tubes should help her to avoid
more infections. She wasn't allowed to eat or drink before for 12
hours, so she was pretty ticked this morning that we wouldn't give her any
milk. She kept doing the sign for milk and saying " mmmik". i'm certain that if she knew how to swear, she would have.

We are proud to announce that we now have a new studio!!! After years of want and desire, it is FINALLY here. Our studio will definitely allow us to better serve the best clients in the world. We can also serve you better too....... just joking, you are the very best clients!!! See, we're still the same goofy and fun people, now with a killer studio. Orris Photography is now located on Rochester road in Royal Oak, just north of downtown. What could be better? Come in, relax and check our place out. Then go out for dinner and a drink at one of several fashionable dining hot spots just down the road. Oh, one very important note: you are likely to see this sparkling little face if you come in unannounced:(which we love by the way!!)

Our studio also serves as daddy daycare for our daughter Ellie. She is my sidekick a few days a week, so I can train her early to be a photographer 8-)
