Our daughter's picture show....

After some debate, I decided to share the picture show of our journey of having our daughter. I don't mean to turn this blog into a "let me show off my child" blog, but I thought I'd share one last thing to convey our experience of having her.

The maternity pics at the beginning of the show are courtesy of our friends Jessica and Nate of Mod4 photographic. They did a tremendous job and on a side note, they also have a sweet blog if you're a blog addict like me.

Thanks again for dealing with our pushiness to show off our daughter!!!
Enjoy the show and kick up the volume on your speakers.

2007 almost full....

Are you getting married this year?? Call us soon because we are getting near capacity for this year. We still have a couple of openings in late fall and early winter. If you're looking for a 2008 date.... fogettabotit... so sorry, we're completely full!! Just kidding actually. We are now accepting commissions for 2008 dates.

Cheers!

PHOTO OF THE MOMENT..

I took this image during our trip to New Orleans a few years ago, on our way to Mardi Gras. We stayed at a cozy bed and breakfast on a little island in Georgia called Tybee Island. It is near Savannah. The next day we visited Savannah. If you have never been to either Tybee Island or Savannaah, Georgia, I would HIGHLY recommend it!! Especially Savannah. We even saw the place Forrest Gump sat during the filming of the movie! Okay, so it's not that exciting, but we thought it was cool at the time. Thinking of going... here's a link.

PHOTO OF THE MOMENT..

This is an image I took while at Yellowstone National Park. Specifically, it was shot at one of the hot spring areas. What I can actually remember the most about this shot was the constant fight I had trying to keep my lens clean of moisture due to the steam coming off of the spring. It was difficult to even focus because I was repeatedly having to wipe the lens. Enjoy!

PHOTO OF THE MOMENT...

I took this image during our honeymoon in 2004. I can't remember id it was in Montana or North Dakota though. For some reason, when I saw this tree along the fencepost, I wanted to stop and get shots of it. I'm glad that I did because it was one of my favorites from the trip.

PHOTO OF THE MOMENT...

I usually explain a bit about each image, but I don't think the irony here needs explaining. The image was captured in Chicago.

PHOTO OF THE MOMENT...

I took this picture in our back yard last spring. I happened to look out the window and see beautiful light hitting the flower, so I HAD to stop what I was doing and snap this image. Plants and flowers are great subjects because they are often so colorful and they sit still for you. Their modeling day rate is pretty reasonable too..
These flowers are bleeding hearts and are one of my favorite type of flowers.
FYI, you will probably see more flowers as P.O.T.M's since I have quite a few. I originally studied wildlife and biology in college and got interested in all sorts of plants and since I have a terrible green thumb, I just photograph them.

You probably never saw this coming as a P.O.T.M....

PHOTO OF THE MOMENT (1st photo!)

I took this shot as we were hiking in the foothills of these small mountains. We were in Nevada about an hour outside of Las Vegas. I can remember sitting on top of this peak and feeling very small compared to the world. You can be Mr. Big Stuff one day feeling like king of the world and then the next day you sit next to a mountain and feel like a shrimp. Speaking of mr. big stuff.... look at me getting all philosophical on my first photo of the moment post. sooorry 'boot thot.

New Blog Segment!

I have decided to create a segment of the blog that I will call "Photo Of The Moment". I'm calling it that because I may post a new shot each day, or each week, or even each month. During the winter months I will post much more frequently as we have less wedding related imagery to post. During the summer months, I'm sure the frequency may drop off a little bit, but don't worry, there will be lots of things to check out...like weddings! Let me know what you think of the shots and I'll keep'em coming. Check back often!!!
